Brighten up Your Tech Series
Series Overview: This five-part series provides an overview of the different kinds of online teaching tools and helps teachers to navigate the sea of technology. Participants learn in a slow-paced environment with demonstrations and hands-on practice. We will focus on different tools in each workshop. Tech-shy teachers are welcome! Resource Padlets will be provided.
Session 3: Keep Track of Vocabulary with Google Sheets, Google Docs and Quizlet
Description: We will review the basic features of Google Docs and Google Sheets and introduce Quizlet, an online flashcard and learning app and website. We will create vocabulary lists by topic in Google Sheets and Docs and practice an easy way to export them to Quizlet. We will also review how students can be involved in the process.
